Booking An Appointment

If you have a referral, this must be reviewed by the Clinical Director before you can book your appointment. You will receive an email from the Referrals team with a subject line of 'Appointment Booking Details', which will describe who you should book with.

Clinical Triage

Ask your GP to send your referral to our friendly team at [email protected]. Please see below for the appointments that require a referral.

You will receive an SMS from The International Spine Centre, requesting your health fund details.

This information is used during the referral triage process to ensure you are seen by the most appropriate specialist.

As soon as your funding details are received, the Clinical Director (Neuro & Spinal Surgeon) will review your referral, letters, scans and/or reports to determine your appointment type to suit your individual needs.

Following Clinical Triage, the outcome will be emailed to you with a link to book your appointment online.

You can book an appointment at a time convenient to you, using Health Engine, our online booking platform.

Payment is required at time of booking to secure the appointment.

You will receive a confirmation via Health Engine.

You will also receive an email with further details about what to expect before, during and after your appointment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

You do not need a referral to see:

  • Spinal Clinician (General Practitioner with extended training in spinal assessment and care)

  • Movement Team (Spinal Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists)

Online Bookings are only available for the Norwood location. We will advise you of the booking process for other locations.
